Frye Injured, JaMarcus Russell In At QB for Raiders

JaMarcus Russell returned at quarterback for the Oakland Raiders after Charlie Frye suffered what appeared to be a concussion in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Russell was benched this week in favor of Frye who hadn’t seen action in some time.

Raiders coaches, and all of their fans for that matter, were fed up with Russell’s poor performance.

He saw action in last week’s game against the Washington Redskins after Bruce Gradkowski suffered a knee injury.

The former first round draft pick cannot be described as anything other than a bust, but still sees himself as the quarterback of the future in Oakland.
