Kicker Steven Hauschka was signed by the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday to replace the injured Matt Bryant.

Hauschka kicked for the Ravens earlier this season, but was released in mid-November after missing his fourth field goal of the season.

He previously tried out for the Dallas Cowboys kicking job to replace Nick Folk, but was beaten out by Shaun Suisham.

He also had a tryout with the Falcons earlier this season, but was beaten out by Bryant whom he is replacing.

In addition to signing Hauschka, the Falcons placed guard Harvey Dahl and cornerback Chris Houston on injured reserve.

The team also signed linebacker Robert James off their practice squad for the final week of the season.
