Michael Turner

Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner left Sunday’s game against the New York Jets after just one carry.

Turner appeared to re-aggravated the ankle injury that kept him sidelined for the previous two weeks.

Jason Snelling has replaced him in the backfield.

Fellow RB Jerious Norwood also left the game with an apparent hip injury in the first quarter. He was limping badly.

No word yet on either players status for the remainder of the game.

Update: Norwood returned, but Turner did not return.
