Jonathan Babineaux
Atlanta Falcons DE Jonathan Babineaux is expected to play Sunday despite his arrest on drug related charges this week.
The NFL is unlikely to take disciplinary action against Babineaux until his case has gone through the legal system.
Any penalty the league enforces against him will likely be served next season.
Babineaux did speak briefly to the media on Friday night, issuing a short statement.
“Unfortunately, since it is a legal matter, I will not be able to comment further at this time, but my family and I have faith that you will see, I’m not guilty of these charges,” he said.
