The Atlanta Falcons expect QB Matt Ryan to be in the lineup next week against the New York Jets, but maybe not RB Michael Turner.
The second year QB out of Boston College has been sidelined with a toe injury he sustained against the Buccaneers on November 29.
Until then, Chris Redman will continue to be under center for the Falcons.
Unlike Ryan, RB Michael Turner’s injury has not been improving as the team had hoped according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
Turner sustained a high ankle sprain against the Carolina Panthers in mid-November and has been hampered ever since.
There is no word yet on when he will return to the field.
