Atlanta Falcons DT Jonathan Babineaux was arrested during a traffic stop on Thursday night for possesssion of marijuana with intent to distribute.
During the routine traffic stop, officers found three bags of marijuana weighing in at 40 grams total. Babineaux was also given citations for driving without a license and driving on suspended tags.
Babineaux is in the midst of a fine season for the Falcons posting 26 tackles, 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. The NFL has yet to comment on the arrest, however will most likely suspend the DT.
