The Philadelphia Eagles released cornerback Ramzee Robinson to make room for WR Jordan Norwood, who they signed off their practice squad roster.
The move was made to add depth to a thin Philly receiving core as DeSean Jackson is unlikely to play this weekend in Atlanta after suffering a likely concussion during last week’s game against the Washington Redskins.
Norwood spent some time in the Cleveland Browns organization, signing as a rookie free agent out of Penn State earlier this year.
He has been with the Eagles practice squad since September 23.
