Eagles Place Jamaal Jackson on IR, Sign Dallas Reynolds

Jamaal Jackson

Jamaal Jackson

The Philadelphia Eagles placed Jamal Jackson on injured reserve Tuesday, officially ending his 2009 campaign.

The talented center tore his ACL during the team’s 30-27 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Dallas Reynolds was signed from their practice squad to fill the gap left by Jackson’s departure on the offensive line.

The team also announced that they signed safety Brandon Harrison to their practice squad.

This is a potentially big blow to Philadelphia with a divisional game against the Dallas Cowboys and the No. 2 spot in the playoffs on the line come Sunday.

Jackson started every game for the Eagles since mid-way through the 2005 season.
