Brian Westbrook
Brian Westbrook should be back on the field for the Philadelphia Eagles when they face the San Francisco 49ers.
The Delaware County Times reported that the Eagles “quietly confirmed” that Westbrook will see his first action in weeks.
“Only a medical setback would keep Westbrook” from playing the report said.
Westbrook has also been trying out a new helmet which should allow him extra cushioning on blows to the head.
The helmet uses military technology which gives him the same shock-absorption as the Navy SEALS.
His status for Sunday will be updated later in the week.
