The Philadelphia Eagles clinched a playoff berth Sunday by defeating the visiting San Francisco 49ers 27-13 at The Linc.
Donovan McNabb had one his best games of the season, lighting up the 49ers defense for 306 yards and one touchdown on 21 of 36 passing. He also added a touchdown on the ground.
DeSean Jackson again proved the he was a stud, catching six passes for 140 yards and one touchdown.
Tight end Brent Celek grabbed four passes for 73 yards.
Michael Vick left the game in the fourth quarter with a thigh contusion and did not return.
The 49ers offense was led by Frank Gore who carried the ball 16 times for 107 yards, but was shut out of the end zone.
Alex Smith was 20 of 37 passing for 177 yards and one touchdown, but it was his three interceptions that would prove to be the difference.
