The December woes for the Dallas Cowboys continued Sunday as they fell to the visiting San Diego Chargers by a score of 20-10.

Tony Romo was 19 of 30 passing for 240 yards and two touchdowns. He did not thrown an interceptions.

WR Miles Austin continued to impress, catching six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Patrick Crayton caught a nine yard touchdown pass with two seconds remaining that would prove to be too little, too late.

For the Chargers, Phillip Rivers was 21 of 32 passing with 272 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

LaDanian Tomlinson was held pretty much in check by the Dallas defense, carrying the ball 21 times for 50 yards and one touchdown. His longest run was 11 yards.

The loss drops the Cowboys to 8-5 on the season and puts their NFC East devision lead in jeopardy.

Should the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the New York Giants tonight, they would take over sole possession of first place in the division. However, a Giants victory would create a three way tie for the division lead.

Meanwhile, the Chargers victory moves them to 10-3 on the season and gives them a two game lead over the Denver Broncos in the AFC East with three to play.
