The Indianapolis Colts kept pace with the New Orleans Saints by remaining undefeated Sunday with a 28-16 win over the Denver Broncos.
The story of the game, however, was Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall who set the NFL single game receiving record on Sunday.
Marshall caught 21 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns.
Denver QB Kyle Orton was 29 of 41 passing for 277 yards and one interception. His two touchdown passes went to Marshall.
For Indianapolis, Peyton Manning had an off day despite throwing four touchdown passes.
He was 20 of 42 passing for 220 yards, but had three interceptions.
When he wasn’t throwing to the Saints secondary, Manning was looking for Dallas Clark who caught five passes, three of which were touchdowns.
Joseph Addai also caught five passes in addition to gaining 67 yards on 16 carries on the ground.
Reggie Wayne was relitively quiet on the day, catching four passes for 43 yards. He was shut out of the end zone.
