Peyton Manning
The Indianapolis Colts remain unbeaten after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 35-31 in a thriller on Thursday night.
Peyton Manning scorched the Jaguars defense for 308 yards and four touchdowns, but even that wasn’t enough to keep the Jaguars out of it.
It wasn’t until Jacob Lacey intercepted David Garrard on the Jag’s final drive with under a minute remaining in the game that the Colts sealed their win.
Manning’s receiver of choice on the night was Dallas Clark who finished with seven receptions, 95 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
Reggie Wayne also put up strong numbers with five catches for 132 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Just as Manning lit up the Jags’ defense, Maurice Jones-Drew did the same to the Colts’ defense.
Jones-Drew carried the ball 27 times for 110 yards and one touchdown.
QB David Garrard was 23 of 40 passing for 223 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
The loss for Jacksonville means that they no longer control their playoff destiny.
