San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner will likely get a contract extension at the end of the season according to a report in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Turner’s current contract expires after next season, but the team won’t wait that long to keep him aboard.
Union-Tribune writer Kevin Acee states that the Chargers big win on the road against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday just solidified that he is the man the Chargers want at the helm.
As for the Chargers this season, they can clinch a playoff berth next week with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Should they win and the Broncos lose to the Oakland Raiders, the Chargers would also earn a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
