The Cleveland Browns placed starting quarterback Brady Quinn on injured reserve Tuesday with an unspecified foot injury, ending his season.

Backup QB Derek Anderson will get the start for the team on Sunday when they face the Oakland Raiders at home.

Quinn suffered a foot injury late in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday according to coach Eric Mangini.

“He won’t be able to play the next two weeks,” Mangini said via a statement from the team. “It’s hard to tell exactly what happened. Even Brady isn’t sure exactly what happened.”

Brett Ratliff will backup Anderson, with kick return stud Joshua Cribbs serving as the team’s emergency quarterback.

On the season, Quinn was 136 of 256 passing, for 1339 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
