Brian Westbrook
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers as if Brian Westbrook will not be part of their offense.
Earlier in the week reports surfaced that Westbrook was expected to be back in the Philly lineup.
However, he has been limited to reps with the scout team and is not in “football shape” according to coach Andy Reid.
A source told The Philadelphia Inquirer that “there’s almost no way” Westbrook would be back on the field this weekend.
The running back has missed four straight games since suffering his second concussion of the season against the San Diego Chargers on November 15.
